Illustrations:
Grannie Annie, Vol. 6, and Grannie Annie, Vol. 6 Expanded

Note: The Grannie Annie published student-illustrated paperback books annually for its first fifteen years.

Each spring, after selecting the Grannie Annie stories that will be published, the next challenge begins: selection of the art to be published. The Grannie Annie selection committee members seriously and joyfully consider each piece of art that was submitted by students from participating area schools, in addition to the art that arrived earlier along with the story submissions. We are pleased to present here the art that is published in the two editions of Volume 6.

What does a Grannie Annie selection committee member look for? A strong story illustration captures details of the story, often including the action or mood of the story. Can you match these Grannie Annie illustrations with their Volume 6 stories? (Answers are posted at the bottom of the Volume 6 stories page.)
